Code 52 - Power Steering pressure switch open???

The 302 equipped trucks have a switch on the high pressure power steering hose that closes under pressure. When closed, it allows the ecu to increase the idle to allow the wheels to turn without bogging the engine. If the switch is open, this is not happening and thus the trouble code. Check to make sure the wiring connector is still on and if so, check the switch for proper operation.
I don't know if my high pressure power steering hose has been changed by the previous owner but I don't have the switch on my '92 302 powered F150. It always seemed to work fine without it.
