Hey guys this is gonna seem pretty dumb but i cant find my fuel filter. 85 Bronco XLT with 302 EFI. I thought i had but when i took it off i am pretty sure that it was my fuel pump. I got another object farther down on the rear of my frame where the fuel line runs into. but it doesnt look like what a inline fuel filter should. My Hanes manual is not a real big help. This is my first car, and also the first one I have been doing the servicing on. So any help would be great.

Yeah i thought it was under the driver side door. Except when I removed it i was stunned because there was electrical wires comming out of it. I am guessing that was an auxillary fuel pump, but i could be wrong. But there is a black tub on my bronco, but it is much farther back on the frame, by the rear wheels. Could that be my fuel filter? Cause it doesnt look anything like an inline filter.

sorry I gave you info for a F150 the bronco is farther back like you said. I have a picture on photopoint but the filter is called a reservoir assembly.
