Question Bleeding 4 Wheel Anti-Lock '95 E-150

Have a '95 E-150 4 wheel anti lock brakes. Replaced the rear shoes and drums. Pedal did not come up as much as I had hoped. Did front pads last Febuary.( About 10K since then) Anti lock brake light sometimes comes on intermitenly then goes out. Brakes work OK ,but would like to see if I can get the pedal up. Book says bleed just as conventional brakes, is this correct. Don't really care about the ABS light, mechanic said it had a problem, but was not easy to trace and brakes work no leaks. Said to try cleaning the sensors. Do not remeber the code he said it threw. Just want good pedal. Realize that 4 wheel ABS has squishy feel anyway. Any suggestions? Thanks Every One.

The manual for my '94 states you may need to bleed them using a special machine.
Don't know if it applies to the '95.
