I was sort of expecting toyota to hit the top eventually but it kinda floored me when I heard about it on the news this morning. They topped gm in sales for the first quarter. I wish ford and gm would somehow pick themselves back up. http://www.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idUST8996520070424

Ya big deal, I hope they enjoy it while it last, because when issues facing GM and ford catch up to toyota, it won't be a hay day anymore.

Won't happen anytime soon, of all the Toyota plants in the US, only the shared with GM NUMI plant in Fremont CA is UAW, the rest aren't. No UAW saves Toyota a minimum of $1500.00 per unit.
