Hi. I'm new to this forum as I just got an F250 last friday (4/20). So bear with me if this is an often asked question. I have an 03 with the 6.0 diesel and I'm wondering if there are any available ports (bungs) in or around the turbo for boost or egt gauges. I dont really want to start drilling into stuff just yet. Thanks for any help.

No, not really. Look in my galery at triple pod guage install for both guage and sending unit installs. You can also search for more options presented here.
Welcome cableguy. Let us know what you find...I just bought my 03 in Feb and would like to install some gauges too. I can't do to standard pilar mounty because of the grab handles installed on mine.

You understand all the trucks come w/ grab handles, YES? You can cover up/do away with the grab handle w/ a 3 or 4 pod setup or keep it with a 2 or 1 pod setup.
what do you guys think of the over the rear view mirror setup? I like it because I could run three guages, keep my grap handle and have a clean install. That is, if it isnt a pain to route the wires and tubes under the head liner.
OPINIONS PLEASE!!!!
Cable666guy, welcome to FTE. You will probably get more help with this question in the 6.0L forum a little further down on the main forum page.
One of the more recent modifications a lot of people have started doing is replacing the factory cast intake elbow with a mandrel bent one with a smoother radius. These aftermarket ones also come with a built in port for measuring boost, so you may want to look into one of those.
I did the over-mirror gauge setup and it was fairly easy. I have an '07 with a factory boost gauge, so all I had to run was wiring. I don't know what boost tubing is like.
If you feel with your fingers at the place where the headliner meets the windshield, you will find they aren't attached, and you can poke your finger into the gap. That's basically how you 'run' the wiring, you stuff it into the gap, a little at a time.
The only two other 'tricks' I used are 1) removed the mirror so I could place the gauge mount in the right spot the first time, and 2) used masking tape to hold the wires in place on the 'A' pillar, so they didn't interfere or get pinched when I reinstalled the cover and grab handle.
