tranny mount
i have an 86 F-150 4x4 302 AOD and the tranny mount is done. i cant find one ane where the one i got from napa the bolt holes that go into the tail shaft needed to be about 1/4" farther from eachother. i pulled one off a '90 truck at the junk yard that i work at and it was the same issue as the one from napa and it was about an inch taller. the part number for mine is E5TA-6009. anyone got any suggestions on what to do?

I looked your truck up at www.partsamerica.com, and all the mounts they sell say "except AOD". I checked autozone and it's the same story. If it were me, I would go buy a rat tail file, file the holes 1/4" so they fit, and drive on. I guess you could check the dealer if you didn't want to do that.
Maybe I will start my own business. Buy the regular mounts in bulk, get a milling machine and elongate the holes, and sell them on ebay

nope cant find one anywhere. i just got 2 more that were wrong last week. i orderd one from bronco graveyard that said for an aod but it wasnt right it was the tall narrow one. i went to napa and got one for a manual tranny and it was the right heigth but wasnt wide enough once again so now im back to a tranny mount that is ripped in 2 pieces.
