well, did the first oil change....took about an hour.....i never thought i would say that i wish the filter was at the same spot as my 01 F150 but i do.....at least with that i could turn it more than an 1/8th of an inch at a time.....what a pain in the **** that was....came off ok just takes to freaken long.....
i think i'm going to get the oil filter socket for on the end of the filter and a long extension and do it that way next time....seames it will go much faster that way than with the strap wrench i'm using now...

That's what bites about the replacement Motorcraft oil filters,they don't have a hexhead end to fit a filter socket.But a good band wrench works ok on the Motorcraft filters.
