Rattles?
I have a 94 7.3 idi pre powerstroke diesel and it has rattle very loud at all speeds. You hear it over everything with windows up and radio on. Doesn't really sound bad but it is really loud.

Try this in your fuel. Add diesel kleen to fuel per bottle - wondering if ULSD fuel is making it rattle and it just needs more fuel lubrication. Also you could try some commercial biodiesel if available in your area. This might help also.
Rattle also could be many things - such as a clutch plate if you have manual. I just opted for easiest to check out. Also post what tranny, miles and anything ele you think we need to know.
