well me my wife youngest kid and dog and 3 other camping couples took a trip to lake wappapello friday night. no reservations!so we got there at 8:45 pm and ranger ask us you got a reservation? nope. sorry the camp sites at the lake are all full! ****! happen to be a special event going on down there this weekend !well on of our camping friends with us hunts down there at a campsite not run by the corps! so he calls them! they say come on over have 4 sites left all next to each other!how lucky can it get? well we all finally pull in to that camp at 10:45pm with 3 ford diesels and 1 otherside guy lol! lots of noise!turn out that thats a family owned campsite on the lake! were you dont have to pay a dime till you check out so if you go up too there little store an get some beer they will wright that on your ticket no money needed till check out!how cool is that!so ended up being a great weekend at this family owned campsite that i will go back to again! just thought yas would want to know!
