antilock brake light
i was wondering if anyone ever expreinced this when running a codes check on there ABS light being on. my system is rabs1 and the manual said there's a diagnostic connector that has two mating halfs and to disconnect them and ground the side with the black and orange stripe wire. well i found the one that had the black and orange wire only it did'nt have a mate, so i ground it anyway and my light did blink, but it just kept blinking two short blinks. the manual said it was suspose to blink example, two blinks, three blinks short ones, and then one long one ect, and then you would count the blinks, example two short ones, and one long one would mean number three. well i was just wondering if anybody might know whats happening here. the diagnostic connector that i ground the black and orange wire on was above the brake paddle, and the long blink is suspose to end the check. well i would appreciate any feed back i can get. by the way this is on a 87 351 bronco.
