Dead brake pedal

I'm working on a 78 F-150 that hasn't been on the road in two years. The brake pedal was very stiff. So today I changed the Master cylinder and bled the system. The pedal freed up a little and the brakes worked barely. The pedal is still soft and does not return to the up postion. When I bled the brakes very little fluid would come out with each cycle of the brake pedal on the down stroke. Whats next new brake booster ????? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like the MC was not bled properly. Also lubricate the brake pedal pivots.

I think you have seized calipers or wheel cylinders.

If these braking systems aren't used they seize up from lack of use.

unless you spilled some check at the rear of the master where it meets the booster, is it wet and rusty? thats a sure sign of a leaky master.
