gear ratio
hey kids. i've got a '91 F150 with the mazda M50D transmission which i need to replace, except that i have no idea what the gear ratio is, and everywhere i go seems to just list all of the possible ratios i could have. if anyone has any idea as to what my ratio is or at least how i can figure it out, that'd be cool.

Axle ratio can be determined by first checking the door jam sticker for the axle code which can be checked on the list of ratios you found.
Also there should be a tag on the diff with the ratio.
In case i'm misinterpreting ya, the trannys ratios are...
1st 3.90:1
2nd 2.25:1
3rd 1.46:1
4th 1.00:1
5th 0.80:1
