Hi guys new to your form and neeeded alittle help.
I just got in to a service truck at work. 98 550 7.3 ,6 speed (pics are coming soon). With the wheather starting to get nice down here in DE. I notic that the A/c is not working. I'm not getting any power down the compressor and all of my pressure switchs are working right. Personaly I think its a relay or fuse. But i can't find one that is labled. or its something in the dash with the switches not sure. i'm thinking somthing to do with the temp dille. no matter and you do. the truck will always blow worm air out. even when its cold outside. looking for alittle help any imput wouldbe great...........thanks
if all your getting is warm air out, even in cold weather it would kinda sound like a damper isn't moving. I had a vacume line come off once that caused a problem like this. hooked it back up, been good ever since. A reason the compresor isn't running could be because there's no air circulating through the evaporator(if the damper is stuck on the heat side) and the low pressure sensor is shuting down the compressor, hence the reason u see no voltage down there. hard to say for sure.
