Gauge mounting options

Does anyone make a setup to mount the gauges in(for a lack of better terms?)the driver side glove compartment? Or have any of you made something to make them fit? I'm thinking of using digital gauges so they're easier to read at a glance. I like this option because when I don't need em, I don't have to see em and it's just cleaner. I'm not yet running a tuner, but I do pull a travel trailer and would like to keep an eye on the egt.

I'm thinking of a metal bracket cut to fit and screwed into place with probably 2 gauges(egt and..? oil, tranny, any thoughts on this as well?). If you've got something similar, lets see it! Thanks.

These are your best options, but you could easily make a flat holder.

Here are some premade 1/2/3 guage holders that should do

On the right hand side, next to your knee is a little compartment that opens and closes. Not quite a glove box, but a storage compartment. I don't use it for anything else and keep thinking this would be a nice place for a clean install.

They did and do make pods for that area, but that was before ford made them into the semi-glove boxes that they are. Gauge works makes pods for that exact location, dual or triple pods, but I think 05 and later 6.0l that had the drive side glove box can't use them, because of the little mods that ford did to make it a functional glove box.

Yeh, I've got an '06 and I can't seem to find any on my searches. I think I'll probably just do it myself, shouldn't be hard to do.

Any input on which gauges to run? Definetly want an egt, but not sure what else. It already has boost(probably not dead-on, but good enough for what I'm doing), so not sure if I should do tranny, oil?, what?

I had done six: egt, tranny, boost(going to run an aftermarket, otherwise your right the factory is actually good), oil pressure, water temp., and volts. As far as ones that would really be beneficial: egt, tranny(if you have an auto), and I would actually say water temp.. Those would be my first three. I had thought about doing intake temp in there as well, but that is getting way to specialized and probably overkill, but still has it's function when hauling.

Iv'e got the auto, that's why I was thinking tranny. Like I said, I don't yet have a tuner(maybe for my b-day!?), and I only pull about 6,000# about once a month when we take the travel trailer out. But I'm thinking down the line for the tuner and long pulls with the trailer(would have been nice for the 2,000 mile baja trip), just to know what's going on. Don't want to get too technical and fancy. Plus, I think I'l probably only realisticaly be able to get 2 gauges in that box.
