351w?
I'm looking at a351w that I was told it came out of a 98 F150 its FI. My question is can you convert this 351 to a carberated system and did they make a 351w that year?

Yes you can convert it to carb with just an intake and correct distributer. Last year for the 351w in the F-150 was 96 and 97 in the F-250/350. I personally would keep the fuel injection.

is it sefi, or mass-air? Mass-air gives you some latitude in power mods. Carbed is possible, but compression ratios may be different...atleast they are on 300 sixes(87 and newer compared to 86 and older carbed)

Call Summit or Jegs and enquire about parts and prices for your change to a carb powered engine. For some people it's easier to work on carb's and others enjoy FI., your choice. Have a great day,chuck
