I don't think this necessarily needs to be in the diesel section but I am trying to take the dash apart on my 04 F-350 to get to the back of the power port. I can't seem to figur out how to pull it apart it looks like it pops out bue the raido is holding it in. If the raido is holding it in then how do you get it out. I am thinkig I don't like this dash already. In case any one is woundering I got no power at the power port but the hot wire on the back does have 12v/dc but only 5v/dc the the center of the power port. So there must be some kind of relay (doutfull) fuse or fuesable link, or may be even just a bad plug but I can't get to it.

Here's how to get the radio out. 3/16th or 1/8th inch wire will work.
1. Use the special tool to release the audio unit retaining clips.
2. Apply outward pressure on the special tool while pulling the audio unit away from the instrument panel.
3. Remove the audio unit.
