Opinions please
Should I keep the 3.85 stroke and just mill the heads .020 w/dished pistons for starters n see what she will do or should I go for the 4.30 stroke etc etc? I am porting the heads also (D3VE).

it depends on how much money you have to part with. if youve got the money by all means throw a stroker kit in. if youre doing a budget build and keeping the d3ve's, then go flat tops and dont mill the heads, just deck the block so all the pistons are around .010 down, run thin head gaskets (.032 to.041) for decent quench, and only bore it out .020- theres .020 over hypers thatll work fine. thatll leave room for the stroker kit later down the road if you feel you need more power after that
