Okay for starters Welcome to to FTE!

2nd) Please read the Read First FAQ thread located at that top of this forum... It talks about titling threads with the topic in them so we know what the thread is about.

Topic:
Starter not cranking engine ?

What tests have you done to try and verify which part is the problem?

Why do you think it is the flywheel ?

Freshly charged battery (always make sure battery is Fully charged before Trouble-shooting systems)

when turning key to start

1) Clicking sound? > see battery is fully charged
2) Clunk sound ? > Starter or engine seized
3) No sound ? > Battery,starter relay,or starter drive,NSS,Bad wiring

Flywheels were either 180 or a 184 teeth

Will need more info about your truck.

Like: What are the Last 6 digits of the Vin#

4x4 or 4x2 ?
