noise and lubrication help
I have a 2000 Explorer and have two problems I want to solve. The first has to do with a "moan" when the truck starts to go into a depression in the road. The shocks were replaced 3 years ago with Bilsteins so I doubt they're the problem. My only guess is something underneath needs to be lubricated.
What can be used on the rubber bushings that are found all around the front end?
My second issue has to do with a clunking noise which is coming from the brake disks. They were also replaced about 2 years ago and didn't make any noise until this year. I 95% sure it's the rotors because I can shake the truck and hear the noise behind the wheel (back axle). Any thoughts on how to correct this?

On the brake noise you know you just need to pull the wheel's off and see what's happening.
Far as lubricating the front suspension, Ford didn't make anything with a grease zirk, so they start getting some wear and start making noises. I ended up replacing both lower ball joints on my 01 F150 4x2, had 115k on it.
