Center Console woes

The latch on my center console just broke. I am looking for information on replacement latches and how to move the core of the old lock over so I can use the same key. Anybody know anything about this? It's an '86 Bronco.

Center Console woes

I started a thread about this a month ago when mine broke. I ordered a new one from the dealer for $15. It does not come with the key cylinder or the clip that holds it onto the console door. Apparently, they can also be gotten cheaply in junkyards because it is the same as a glovebox latch on some F-series pickups. But I could not find one. As far as getting the key cylinder out of your old one, there are two latches on the bottom of the cyliner that hold it in, but I still couldn't get it loose. I ended up cutting it out, and then it just snapped into my new one.
