Headlight adjustments
As usaul, shop manual description somewhat involved and not too clear. Basically, displays grid on floor to establish centerline of the truck showing 2 lines running across from center of the front and center of rear axle. Then measure 25' from center of front axle to wall. Then shows 2 lines running thru center of front and rear wheel to wall. This is suppose to establish the verticle centerline of truck. Measure 20" up from wall and draw line/tape. Then Measure actual distance of center of headlight to floor and subtract the difference and add to the 20" line already established on the wall. Then measure 2" to the right of each headlight centerline and mark. What you end up with is a pattern on the wall, a line measuring 20" from floor running horizontally. There is another horizontal line (difference between actual measure'mt of center of headlamp to floor) that is added to the 20". Then there are 3 verticle lines one is the centerline for truck, and the others are I each for centerline of each headlight. According to manual, add 2" to right of each headlight centerline, mark and adjust. Fuel tank should be full, truck should be empty, and adjust in low beam. Manual little bit more involve but difficult enough, imagine trying to fiqure out without pic's and my sad description will be a challenge. Actually, never got around to adjusting mine after I reassembled, kinda questimated. Now that I have taken time to read directions give incentive to do it right. Perhaps more knowledgeable member who has actually done it will chime in. Good luck.
