Intercoolers
So would my 03 7.3 have an intercooler? What is an intercooler, and what would the benefit be of one? I have looked abit on the net, but I need a more "dummied down" version. I found an intercooler for sale for a 6.0 liter, and was just thinking maybe i could do something with it!

Yes, you have an intercooler. What it does is cool down the compressed air from the turbo. It benifits because cooler incoming air is more dense, thus adding more fuel. It in the front of the truck behind the a/c condensor, and in front of the radiator. A stock 6L intercooler will help with towing, but people said on here for just running around it doesnt do much.
I tried searching for it, but sometimes its alot easier to ask the specific question!
