I was just wondering if anyone in here knows the easiest way to take a grill off of a Ranger? I have to get it off of the truck tomorrow so it can be measured, and I tried yesterday and must have been missing some screws that need to come off or something, and I can't find my Haynes anywhere! My b/f is doing most of the work probably, but I don't know if he really has a reference for it seeing as he is a Pontiac man...lol

Reason: forgot something
I can't answer that, but did ya try and post this over in the Ranger forum? You might get a quicker answer over there, cause I don't think many here have Rangers.
Wanted to try here first. I've posted a few questions over there, and I don't much want to seem like a girl who doesn't know her way around a truck...lol

Newer Trucks are a pain in the behind...There aren't many screws, but getting to them is a pain.
I can only suggest that you look and have patience.

Well, I took the ones along the top out, I'm assuming that long chrome piece across the front has to come off as well, but I tugged on it a little bit, but didn't want to end up breaking it, so after I took a couple of nuts off that I later found out belonged to the marker lights, I decided to stop and just put back the screws and nuts and wait.
That shall be printed off and taken to the shop with us tomorrow. I've done some searching for grills and haven't liked what I've found so far, so we're gonna try a home made version that we came up with. If it turns out like we think it will, I will be posting before and afters in my gallery.
