Hi,
I am thinking of putting a tach in my truck, was going to go with an external one on the cowl area, but my brother suggested one thats pillar mounted, is there anywhere that sells a cluster for pillar mounting a tach?
Any ideas? Thanks for your time,
Chuck
An in-dash tach was an option on some Broncos and F-150s. Mine is next to the speedo. The wiring is all there; you'd need the instrument cluster and printed circuit.
Chuck, the 78-79's did not have factory tachs. I have a Sun Super tach mounted on my steering column with a rubber isolator and a screw clamp (painted flat black). It is a convenient location, looks good, and dosen't obstruct the view of the other gauges.
