T-Case

Hey, I have a clunking noise. It only happens when the truck is warm. I put it from drive to reverse or any gear and it thumps. I checked the U joints and everything was ok. I put the truck in neutral and i can move the driveshaft and hear clunking. Anyone had the same problem. tomorrow its goin in to get looked at

could still be ujoint,slip joint or pinnion yoke on the rear diff.

Have someone turn the drive shaft back and forth, while you crawl up and down the drive line and listen to pin point where the "clunk" is coming from.

I would put the truck on jack stands and with it in neutral roll the wheels back and forth, with you under it. If you don't see anything turn the drive line by hand back and forth.
