CV Halfshafts Replacement Help

Hello,
Well got a problem here went and purchased new cv halfshafts, and well they arn't working to well. I confirmed i got the right ones and i installed them and well i try to turn the wheel and it turns a lil and then feels like it binds up for some reason. The Shafts can be used on either side so thats not it just don't know what it could be. its out of 4X4 and is in Neutural so its beyond me, so i called a machanic and he dosne't know whats going on either. So i am in a pickle for sure LOL. well thanks for any help

Do yo know for sure the shaft's are comletely in the diff, and were you able to get the retaining nut tight. If not it will bind, and damage the new shaft's. I know from experience.

Well, I just found out Alot of information.
My expy is a mid year 1997 so its more or less considered a 1996 but they didn't make expys in 1996 so all my major parts are dealer Items, Which sucks because one cv shaft is over 400 dollars, i had this same problem when i was doing engine work, i had to get all the parts from the dealer now i know. The shafts were just a little shorter then the older ones so i have to go through dealer but i am not going to pay 400 dollars for them when i should be able to get them for 100 so i think we may sell this expy and get a lil newer one thast actually they year they say it is. Some BS if you ask me but ok just thought i would let you all know if your haveing the same problem.

Thanks
Matthew
