Axle ?

Does the oil in the center section also lube the wheel bearings? Looking in my repair manual it states in there that you should pack the wheel bearings befor assembly? I have never done this w/the old dana 60 axles. Thanks Tony

On the rear axle the diff fluid does lube the bearings. Just use the same oil to coat the bearings before instalation.

Are you talking about the front axle or the rear axle? Front axle is a dana 60, the rear is a ford sterling 10.5 if SRW and a dana 80(could be wrong on number but i know dana) if drw.

Yeah you can drive it as is. It will just have more limit to it than without the friction modifier.
