building a pulling truck
hi all
i am putting a 1978 351m-400 in a 89 f 250. the oil pan is hitting the cross member due to the independent front sus. anyone know of a diferent oil pan i can use or have any ideas to make it work. i am on a low budget but can do fabrication. any ideas are welcome and appreciated.

the only big block available for an 89 would be a 460, and i'm not sure if the oil pans are interchangable or not, you might have to fab one from scratch. is the 351 out of a car or a truck??? one had the hump in the front and the other in the back, but i can't remember which was which.
