Front end work?
I just bought a '95 F-350 4x4 its got 2 or 3 inch body with 6 or 7'' suspension and 36'' tires. The guy I bougt it from just put a new tierod on it and said it just needs aligned. I am starting to doubt that and think it made need some balljoints and etc... Just not sure how to determine what all is needed? Its hard to trust a shop b/c they will just want to replace it all. Any suggestions? I'm scared to take it thinking the bill could be around a grand.

Raise you're truck by the lower control arm, or front axle if not independent suspension. With the tire off the ground, pry on the tire from the bottom. Check for play/movement from the lower ball joint. Also push in at the top of the tire, then check for movement there from the upper ball joint.
Go side to side for movement from tie rod ends.
