I just logged in as a new member & just purchased a '97 4.6L with 153,000 highway miles. It runs great. Routine maintenance check revealed worn spider gears so I'm putting in a posi unit (used) out of an Explorer. Also changed the drivers side parking brake cable which was corroded and locked the brakes up when applied. Lots of rust due to the snow and road chemicals here in the great state of Pa.
