temperature gauge wacky!!
f100-1980-l6-300-2wd auto-pb-ps--temperature gauge,fuel,oil gauges all go higher than actual and then go normal for while. Have changed voltage regulator in dash. Any suggestions on this problem.

Poor instrument panel ground can cause this. I added a separate ground from the Instrument Voltage Regulator mounting tab directly to the dashboard metal frame. All the IP grounds go through one connector pin. Might help dim or flickering IP lamps.
