Silver! I have Black SuperCrew with 1/8" silver. They light up under streetlights. I think it looks great. I had black '01, '04, and now '07 with 1/8" silver pins. Check my gallery...(should work, if not, I'll have to play with it)
I do my own, slight trick to getting it right. I have mine wrapped from grill, around tailgate to grill on other side....no breaks other than normal body joints.

Reason: .
its what i used except i got it thru the local snap-on man. works well. it is like a big eraser. you attach it to a cordless drill. it will leave marks on the paint and it will need to be waxed when thru. make sure to not use it with more rpm's than is directed..it can damage paint. this works for pinstripes that arent painted on.
Actually when I removed mine, I just got a razor blade under the edge around a corner (not hard at all, take your time), and once the corner was up the whole things would come off easy, just pull straight down the line.
yea i tried the whole heat gun and peeiling it first and it keep breaking on me in very short lenghts and had to get hte residue off. it was easier to me to get the eraser thing. anyway....back to the thread
All the stripes are vinyl, including the scoop. The local trim shop did them for around $400.
I went with vinyl at first as the wife wasn't sure that she wanted them, so if I had to remove them, it wouldn't be too much work.
Most vinyls will only last 5 years or so in the sun, so when these get too discoloured, I will have them painted on instead.
You should be able to take your truck into a trim shop and have them remove the stripes with a minimal of work. I'm sure there is a trick to it, but I don't know what it is...
