Replacing the waterpump in my 88 F150 - broke the front plate to which it attaches to. Any idea where to start next? I think i have to pull the crankshaft pulley but never done that - anything special i need to know?
Yes you will have to pull the crankshaft pulley to take the timing chain cover off.
The timing chain cover gasket set should come with part of a pan gasket to replace the front part of the pan gasket. Use rtv at the joint.
Just take the pan bolts out that go into the cover before you take it off.
