darn thing just won't start
After a day of mud whompin i noticed when i drove my truck to school and parked it and then tried to start it up again I would turn the ignition on in park and all the regular lights on the instrument cluster would turn on but the engine wouldn't start. But if I were to turn the ignition on in Neutral the engine would start. Any ideas?

darn thing just won't start
You managed to accomplish a damaged neutral safety switch circuit. Either a wire is cracked, the switch is trashed or you just got too much grime and mud on the connection. The switch also controls your reverse lights so you might want to see if they are working too.

you know what bob_VT? my reverse lights actually stopped working like a couple of weeks ago. Could the fact that my reverse lights went out before and this problem now exists still be from the same damaged neutral safety switch circuit? thanks for the reply...

you know what Bob_vt? My reverse lights actually went out like 2 weeks ago. Could this problem with the starting of my engine recently still be due to a damaged neutral safety switch circuit?
