See the thread here. I was sure it was an EBPV problem. Maybe the oil temp sensor was bad. Maybe the air temp sensor was bad. I didn't know. The shop said they would take a look at it Wed and since they cannot see anything obvious, they would be break torqueing it. That is not a good thing for the trans. Before I would let them do it, I thought that it was best to talk to BTS and see what they thought it might do to the trans and where I should stop them should it get too far.
Brian said it was ok and I wouldn't hurt a thing. Anyway, he told me that since the turbo pedestal was done, he was sure it was a hose on the CAC that was leaking. Well, I took the pipes going to the turbo off and the CAC pipe off. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. Everything was the way it should have been. OK. Since I was there, no harm in taking it apart and cleaning it. Put it back and took it for a test drive. Everything seemed to be OK and nothing changed EXCEPT for the fact that the hiss that I thought was the EBPV was gone. I was getting 22 psi boost again. Is that man great or what?

Yes he does that so that he can tell you which holes to drill out should you want to change the shift firmness. IMO, don't bother to change it since I think if you tell him exactly what you want, he will set it up right for you.
I checked the Swamps oil pump and didn't like the fact that i would lose my heated fuel bowl which is nice for WI winters. So, it was either BTS or the Terminator. I guess I have just made up my mind where to spend my money for a HPOP this fall.
Jody & Brian are stellar examples of men who take pride in their work and are willing to go that extra mile and then some to help . Would that other businesses were so helpful to their customers. I'll not even consider another product.
My hats off to both those gentlemen, and my sincerest and greatest thanks as well.
Hey Keith - how's that AIS working out for you? I've got the 6637 now but will be modding a 6.0 intake to fit my Nyx. I like to play...

More to the point, they know their stuff too. Yeah, right. Many other businesses can barely get the basics done. Don't ask them to go the extra mile.
Jason, I bought a trans from him last year in Jul maybe? Called him yesterday and when I mentioned my name he remembered me. Dollars to donuts, he probably remembers you.
I bought a small item from him. One of his Valve Bodies. A while later, the trans locked up. Diode. Thanx Ford. It sat in superheated fluid (burnt within minutes of it locking up) a d just a bunch of debris for over 100 miles till I got home and when I called him, he remembered me and even gave me credit.
I wish I could have driven to BTS to get my trans....but it was slipping horribly (something about a lead foot, high hp programs and 38" tires I think??) so I had it shipped and my friends at No Limit Diesel Performance did the install.
