Hi from a newbie!
My truck is a 2003 F250 CC with 7.3 Powerstroke and 55k miles.
Bought it used with 27K miles. I live in Central Texas and mainly use my truck for pulling flat-bed utility trailers with loads ranging from 1k lbs to 8k lbs and I have a 28' fifth wheel travel trailer too. This is my first diesel truck and I love it.
My goal is to get the best MPG's possible and listen to others as to what add-ons work and which don't. I also use B20 (20% biodiesel) purchased from local Shell stations in the Austin area and I believe my engine runs smoother and quieter using it.
Have had oil changes every 6k miles with Mobil 1 synthetic and replaced the Firestone LTs with Goodyear LTs when one of the Firestones had tread separation.
I am 2 years away from retirement and have a lot of plans I am happily waiting to work on when I have more time.
