Anyone have this option? They're on my wife's van and my truck. My opinion: they're a marketing scam. In both vehicles they're set to full forward and are never touched by either of us. They were not a motivation in our purchases, just happened to come with it. Anyone else think they're socks on a rooster, like lighted cupholders?

If they are set to full forward, there's a switch to move them back. If there's no switch, you haven't got them.
I wouldn't buy a vehicle without them...there's at least 6 inches of travel, which enables my wife to sit away from the air bag, with the pedals up, I can't drive the same truck with the pedals up. But down they're just fine. It might interest you to know that the 2007 Tundra doesn't offer them at all. I drove one the second week they were out and posted the results on FTE. Didn't like it...fugly! Several road tests of the Tundra I've read complained about the lack of the pedals.
I'm 6-5 335 lbs, she 5-3 135 lbs.

I'm 6-4 and wifey is 5-7, and we keep them full forward at all times, in both vehicles. Granted, she only drove the truck once, but still she didn't mess with the pedals (she knew the option was there). I played with them once and then the novelty wore off. I wonder how many folks find them useful. When you said "It might interest you to know that the 2007 Tundra doesn't offer them at all" that's just what I meant, is it a useful addition or a marketing thing, i.e "we have them and you don't".
If the truck didn't have the pedals, I couldn't drive it, as the pedals are all the way up when they aren't adjustable. I don't play with the pedals, cuz I want them down. It may be a marketing ploy but I appreciate them. The fact that I'm gimpy as heck and past 60 might have something to do with it. The heated seats I've never used, never used the cup holders either.

Drove a Chevalay Sub with them, nice option. Really good for short leggeds so's they can get back from the hairbag.
Yea, why they went away from the tiller and hand throttle and brake is beyond me. Who needs anything else? And windshields? Ever heard of goggles? Gosh, people are so soft.
I will never own a vehicle with out moveable pedals again, love them keeps you as far away form the air bag bomb that is tucked inside you steering wheel...
my 2004 f250 came with them, i am 6'3" and my wife is 5'2" and the pedals never got moved with either one of us driving.
You're 6-3? Are you fudging a bit? You drive an Xterra? You can actually fit in an Xterra? That Xterra has the least amount of legroom (38.5") of any vehicle sold in the US except for the Frontier pickups, which they are based on. Even the Pathfinders have more legroom. A Titan is cavernous compared to any of them. I could no more fit in an Xterra than rollerskate in a plowed field. How the heck do you fit in one? My wife is 5-3. We looked at one last yr. I couldn't even fit in the passenger side. She ended up with a Murano, which has power pedals, and faaaar more legroom.

I'm 6' 3" 200 lbs (size 14 shoes if it matters) and I fit easily in the front of my brothers 2003 Frontier Crewcab. While I haven't driven anything with adjustable pedals, I haven't really found a vehicle with bad pedal positioning. I've driven compact cars to 4 ton grain trucks. There has only been one car that I haven't fit in. It was an older Oldsmobile and my head hit the roof with just sitting on the seat. I did only drive it 5 feet since the old lady didn't park close to the gas pump.

1959/63...I know the feeling, I had a 1960 Olds 88 2dr HT. It was traded in on a new 65 F100. Unlike the Olds, I still have the F100. Try this: Add 2 inches in height, 135 pounds, spinal stenosis and arthritic knees. Now try fitting in that Frontier.

I don't have a problem but since I have a 5'2" chubby wife, I need to get her away from the airbag.
I got them in my '06 Explorer. Same deal - car off the lot with several options that I didn't need/want. Pedals got played with for a few days, now they are full - forward all the time.
FWIW, I'm 6'5" (skinny) and wifeypoo is 5'2" (chubby). We both drive it alot. Power pedals and the 3rd row seat are never used.
