no 4x4

no 4x4
I was out plowing snow and left a store got to the road put the truck in 2 wd and now ther truck wont go back into 4x4. I get no lights in the dash from the 4x4 and i changed the switch with another one. Any ideas for a quick fix or anyone near albany ny?

I'm assuming you have the electonic shift on the fly. If you turn your vents on high and then shift to 4X4, does the defroster come on? If so you have3 a vacuum leak. I just went throught this on my '02. In my case it turned out to be the vacuum selenoid.

ok i also replaced the motor and now all i get is the motor to rotate once but still no 4x4 I have no idea what it is I took the motor off and manually put the transfer case in 4x4 to get thru this sotrm so if anyone is local and knows an answer please letm e know I will try the vacuum leak tommorow
