Well after the storm knocking out the power for a 3 hours here at the lake where I live, and it came back on a hour ago. And Finding out that a friend of my Son both of them is over in Iraq I find out from my sons girlfriend one of his best friends from basic training was killed Saturday night. It hasn't been too good of a day. I hate to hear about one of our service people getting hurt or killed there.Luckily our son wasn't hurt but it hurts to hear of it happening to others knowing it could happen to us.

Oh man... I'm terribly sorry for the loss to your family. Even if the fallen was a friend of your son, it will impact your family through him ~ My deepest condolences. I too hate to hear of another fallen soldier. My brother is Army and my husband’s whole fam damily is Navy. It touches every one of us at some point.

Thank you I can't imagine the pain my son friend family is going through, It has affected my son very deeply. And it also grounds us to reality that it can happen to anyone. We have no way to send Condolences to them.

OTR,
It always sucks to have the reality of war come home. We all wish we could be there to hold and comfort our Loved ones when something terrible happens. I am holding my BIC to the sky for your sons unit right now..

On the other hand it is gettin g to be that time again.... We ate all of the Fillet Mignon for dinner so I guess I will have to make Left over leftovers. Looks like it is going to be ... Let me see I have Taco meat, lettus, cheese, refried beans and spanish rice. I think the milkman delivered some sourcream today too.

Looks like a burrito for lunch
MMM MMM MMM Good.
