speed sensor location

Hi everyone,
I have a 94 1/2 ton 4x4 E4OD trans, I just replaced the trans and was driving , but when it shifted into drive it would run for a little while then kick down into 2nd. I had the computer rebuilt and i was thinking , could the speed sensor be bad, and if so where is it located? Any help would greatly appreciated. thanks
