Warranty

Hey fellas i have an 05 f350 i bought it a couple months back with 70,000 on it ive put 20,000 on it in the last 2 months moving and i have quite a few issues, my question is, i put stacks on it and straight pipe from the turbo back and have a chip and intake, do i have to change any of this over to go in for warranty work? or should i just remove the chip and send her in? thanks alot

Take the chip out, as far as the exhaust it depends on your dealer.

A Programmer and Aftermarket Intake can both cause warranty problems with FMC. As for exhaust system it depends on the dealer, cat back no problem turbo back can be a warranty issue.

You didn't say what kind of problems you are having that require warranty work but removing the tuner can make some problems harder for the technician to diagnose. Also when a tuner is removed there is evidence left behind that the technician can use to determine if a tuner had been installed. This can make some techs angry that you are not being up front with them at which point they then start looking for anything and everything to deny your warranty claim. Best bet is to be honest with your tech and let due process run its course. If they deny warranty do to your mods, just understand that if you are going to play then you have to pay!

Hope this helps

No kitty on the exhaust could very well lead to warrantee issues. Hopefully you find an understanding service department.
