Spark Plug Gap with Cam
Hey so i got a quick question.
With a 260 duration camshaft will I need to increase the spark plug gap from the stock setting of .044? If so what should they be set at.

If you were to boost ignition performance with a higher performance coil Like a TFI or after market type like a MSD Blaster2 you could open the gap up to about .050-.055.

changing the cam doesn't really affect the plug gap. the gap is determined by your electrical system. there was a recent thread on side-gapping plugs for more power, if you're interested, its good technical knowledge at the least. opening your gap won't help, and may hinder performance unless you upgrade your ignition.
