Quick question....when cold

Curious why my 7.3 is SO gutless for the first and second accelleration in the morning? I can floor it and it barely moves along from the driveway and the first stop sign, then after like a few minutes all is fine.
Anyone?

Assuming that it hasn't warmed up yet in Albany...sounds like the normal operation of the exhaust backpressure valve.

I don't think it's EVER going to warm up in Albany....yeah, thought it may have something to do with that, even tho I disconnected the EBPV sensor on both-ends (It was doing this before I did that) thanks

Have you disconnected the harness for the valve itself? That will stop it.
