R&P return line fitting
56 F100 / MII and Power Rank & Pinion from CPP :
Directions say that the Return Port thread size is 5/8 x 18. 5/8 X 18 means it is a Pipe Thread fitting. Well, the supplied 5/8 x 18 fitting does not thread into the port. It binds up. However I have discovered that a 3/8" Tubing fitting DOES fit......it threads down all the way!
Has anyone out there in Ford land encountered this problem and what kind of fitting setup did you use. Thanks.
