Install Time for edge tuner

I just bought a edge juice tuner with the A2 monitor, any idea what the install time might be like. It also included the pryo sensor. Just wondering if I need to plan an all day affair or just a couple hours? Oh and any tips any one might have. Thanks

The pyro will take the most amount of time. I usually install the attitude and juice in about 30 minutes. You will need tie wraps (the two that come in the kit does not cut it), a coat hanger (bent straight) and lots of WD40 or eqv. The juice is straight foward, but can be aggrivating to get the splice harness skinny enough so you don't have to loosen the engine harness, I end up bending it in an "S" shape.

The coat hanger and oil are for passing the attitude wire through the firewall gromet around the steering shaft. There is another option, you have a big oval plug that can be pushed out and drilled.

I haven't had to do the pyro, but edge suggest drilling 3/4 of the way through and then starting the motor. The idea is that the gasses will push the metal shavings out rather than letting them get pushed up into the turbo.

You can drill it like that or we usually drill it straight up from underneath, and then put a shop vac up against it surounded by your hands. NEver had a problem yet. (knock on wood) lol

I dont know why a waited so long to install a chip. The install with the A2 and juice chip about 1.5 hours with a pyro install. Again thanks for all the help!
