engine masters
Did everyone see the new engine masters magazine?? Fords were dominating! Why did this years compotition have mostly Fords?? Builders finally realizing their potential????

I know what your talkin about jim, but I haven't gotten the new issue yet. Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping to see John Kasee in this years competition again. Local fella who knows how to wake up a ford product.

Well first off engine masters tries to make the rules friendly to chev engines and it flat doesn't work.
As to Kaase, he didn't build a ford this year, he did take second place but did it with a Pontiac instead. Personally though I think Jon could build a briggs and stratton and still be competitive.

He's smart man I tell ya. If ou ever get the chance to visit his shop go check it out.
Before we got out of racing the ovals a couple years ago we had two combinations- GARC chassis' and kasse 2bbl power, and GARC chassis' and elliot 4bbl power.
I was very suprised/pleased when we had jon's shop freshen up a 2bbl motor and change it over to 4bbl, and it outperformed the elliot 4bbls.
I love this stuff but the hobby just gets too expensive
