I just had my C6 tranny rebuilt.....including a new torque converter and I had the transfer case sealed.

It responds much better but my Bronco is still a sluggish when I give it gas (whether at a stop or while driving).

I have had some problems with my rear diff leaking....is it possible that there is not enough of the friction modifier in the diff that is causing it to not have the jump like it used to have?

If this is the case, will changing the fluid out help or could it be shot?

The amount of friction modifier in your diff shouldn't have anything to do with your acceleration. The friction modifier is there for the clutch paks so they grip properly, and provide the limited slip function. The fluid could very well be shot, as I like to change mine at around 50k or so, but changing it would not fix the problem. If there are problems in the rear end, it would be due to worn bearings or such, causing too much binding. I would think your problem lies in the engine or tranny somewhere. Since you just had the tranny rebuilt, did the torque converter that was installed have the proper lockup rpm?. Also, check your motor and tranny mounts. They can give a slushy off the line feel if they are bad.
