ck engine light
I have a 2006 F250 5.4 auto, 3.73ls 4x4. A couple months ago the check engine light came on. When this happened it made the transmision shift differently, it was not as smooth as it was previously and would go to higher rpm before shifting. Dealer said a fuse was blown due to cold weather and replaced the fuse. Two days later check engine light came on again. I took it back to the dealer, when they returned the truck they said the light was not on and that there were no diognostic code associated with it. At times it still does not shift fluidly from 2-3 gear, goes well above 2k rpm. MPG went from 11.8 to about 10. First time post, ck'd the tsb's, no luck. Any help ?

this sounds like it could be in the tranny or wiring to it ,sorry to say!
These torque shifts have been pretty good.
