Congrats on getting her running Jake! Hey twelve, I'd love to take a ride in that truck of yours, give me something to think about for the future. Now if I could only convince the wife that I really need a tuner and bigger exhaust.......
You do, you do.
With a 6 blow, your manhood is in serious question if you dont at least put a 4" exhaust on there and let your turbo sing to the neighborhood. I wouldnt touch your intake though. The 6.0's stock intake is a dandy.
Then get yourself your flavor of preference in custom tunes - DP, or LIPD, or . . . whatever, on an XCAL.
Your tranny cooler is also awesome stock, so put the money into a Spearco intercooler.
Now jack it at least 4" with a DR lift, or 6, or 8, depending on how froggy you want to get. Tires, wheels, bars, nekkid chrome chick mudflaps (hey we are in NE after all)
When the warranty expires, that day, THAT DAY swap for modded injectors.
I dont know squat about the HPOP on the 6.0's. If you're like the 7.3, then you gotta double that up too.
Youre close enough to Diesel Specialties that Randy there could probably hook you up with all kinds of whiz bang go faster stuff.
Tonight when you lay down, just ask yourself as you drift off, what it might be like to have 5 tons and 500 horses.
Hey Chris, I knew you'd jump in here eventually! I think my manhood would be in question if I drove a chevy! Maybe someday, I can play with this thing. I guess I'll have to talk to you guys then. Would be cool to smoke a camaro with that truck, though!
A little birdie told me that there may be a new intercooler on the block very soon.... First priority though should be gauges, exhaust, and our custom tuned SCT.
Yeah, I'm going to start with gauges. Maybe sometime this summer, we'll have to talk about those. Looking at getting some pillar gauges, at least an egt and a tranny temp gauge.
