Well, I will not argue here on the merits of CAI systems probably cause on most vehicles, they dont make a hoots worth of difference.BUT, I will say this about the True-Flow filter I installed on my 05 FX4. I had performed a few mods to the factory tube like removing the baffles and straightening the system running the add on tube, a dryer vent, out the front near the headlight.Anyhow, I added the drop in True Flow and immediately noticed a difference in response and mileage.The sound was cool too, lol.The response is so different from the paper filter that its a night and day felt difference.Now, this is my truck at my altitude and my driving habits.It made a difference, period. Thats not a plug for true-flow, just an experience.
